Tomatín Legacy
The “no-age-statement” version of Tomatin distillery uses virgin oak and ex-bourbon barrels in its production. The use of different barrels make this a unique expression.

Tomatín Cask Strenght
Tomatin single malt Scotch whisky presented at cask strength – a generous 57.5% ABV. Introduced in early 2015, this is the first cask strength bottling to join Tomatin’s core range, and is matured in a combination of bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks.

Nose: Opens with home-made ice-cream drizzled with caramel and crushed walnuts, then moves on to Seville orange, red berries and black pepper.
Palate: Crystallised ginger, green apple and a touch of salty sea air. Sweet chocolate and cooking spices, growing intense on the mid-palate.
Finish: Lasting notes of vanilla pod and crumbly fudge.

Tomatín 12
The Tomatin 12 Year Old is smooth and silky, having been matured in traditional Scotch Whisky, ex-Bourbon and ex-Spanish Sherry casks. A rich, fruity aroma is the prelude to sweet flavours of ripe apples, pears and a subtle hint of nut before the long, pleasantly oily finish.

Palate: Oak-y vanilla and fresh mint, dotted with stem ginger and dried orange peel.

Nose: Quite a powerful nose. Big bunches of red berries and grapes. Vanilla, oak and hints of white pepper.
Palate: Dark chocolate dipped in strawberries. Crushed almonds, walnuts, Victoria sponge (with plenty of the prerequisite jam and cream in the middle) and a centre of oak.
Finish: Fruity on the finish.

Tomatín 18
The Tomatin 18 Year Old is a truly world class malt. Matured in traditional oak casks and first fill Oloroso

The nose is quite punchy and of good body. There are notes of chewy grape and sultana with winter spice; cloves and cinnamon. There are notes of vanilla fudge and a most supple of smokes, weaving gracefully in cut grasses and apple peels.
The palate is quite sweet and full. There are notes of barley sugar and honeycomb. Hints of chocolate orange and cocoa dusted liberally on toasty oak.
The finish is long and powerful with a dry, chewy oak and a touch of pepper.

Added to the range in 2015, this 36 year old whisky is smooth and creamy. The contents have been vatted from a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks to create a delicious whisky released in small batches – now on its latest batch 5.

NOSE: notes of herbal honey and hints of raspberry. Polished wood, ginger and vanilla.
PALATE: very soft, tropical fruits (passion fruit, apricots and pears). Walnut and orange peel. Finish: long, with notes of oak, grapefruit, Seville oranges and cloves.
